We enjoyed the end of our summer going into fall and the kids have especially enjoyed a path that was cleared through our woods at the beginning of the summer as it has provided hours of outdoor recreation. Alivia (5) is loving learning to read and has mastered riding her bike without training wheels. The kids' new favorite activity is riding halfway up our street (which is a cul-de-sac and has a significant incline) and then zooming down. James (3 1/2) has little fear and is always pushing himself to see what else he can achieve...for example, trying to stand on the seat of his bike by balancing (to his credit, he at least tried it in the grass :) Josiah (almost 2) keeps us on our toes as he is the one who has tried things his older siblings hadn't even thought of, but provides our family with lots of "cute" moments. Victoria is as sweet and contented as a baby can be. We've frequently said that we should have named her Grace as with a busy household, her sweet spirit is definitely a daily reminder of God's grace. :)

It's so fun to see some photos! Victoria is a little doll, and praise the Lord for her mild temperament. We, too, are rejoicing in the easy temperament that Lauren has shown so far. It's been so nice to enjoy her, as compared to her brother at that age! Also, I was happy to see that you've had potty training success! That's always a wonderful milestone to reach!
I miss you guys! But no doubt your days are similarly busy as ours are! Thanks for the update! Take care!
Love,
Kristin
