Beautiful Moments

    This butterfly was my inspiration to update today as it was hanging around our patio long enough to pose for a photo and then as quickly as it appeared had moved on leaving me with simply a photo and a memory.  It seems as parents of young children, we hear often from parents of older children, "Enjoy these days...you blink and they're gone."  It was a great mid-day reminder to savor the beauty of these moments with all their precious and at times challenging aspects and give thanks!  God truly is a masterful Creator and has given us this brief window to enjoy and train up three precious children...they truly are a gift!

Alivia & James happily helped me make a special Father's Day cake for Daddy...Alivia chose the wording..."We Love You, Daddy!"

A fun and very warm day ended with fun in the sprinklers!

Alivia loved her swimming lessons and is eager to practice new skills any chance she gets.

Not to be left out of the action, James is becoming a little fish when given the chance!

Josiah watching the swim lessons and most likely enjoying having Mommy all to himself.

Alivia had a special friend in her swimming class so we joined up for some play time in the park following lessons.

  

Increasing independence and always on the lookout for a new adventure....

...and it doesn't take much. :)

A special visit from Grandma Kregel resulted in a zoo trip complete with some treasured experiences...train ride, giraffe feeding & pony riding.
