What started as a Bible study with 4 women and 4 babies (3 1/2 years ago) has grown to include to 8 women and 15 children. What a blessing these women are in my life as we've spent a couple hours each week studying Scripture and growing together in Christ. This was a special after-study birthday lunch for one of the women.
If only they knew how much chocolate ice cream they were missing.
It's amazing how entertaining a brother in an exersaucer can be.

Carefree as can be
On Easter we were joined by Grandpa and Grandma Reed for lunch. The kids enjoyed an egg hunt at our house followed by one at a neighbor friends'. Here James is trying to pick up two eggs at once and soon realized that his hand has a little more growing to do before that's possible. We did several special activities in the week leading up to Easter focused on Jesus' death and resurrection and it was especially fun to see Alivia's understanding grow.
Alivia not only helped James into the swing, but was enjoying pushing him...what a great big sister!
"Wow...that looks like fun, I can't wait until Daddy lets me mow..."
What he doesn't know is that Daddy is looking forward to that day more than James is!
I'm growing fast and am taller than either Alivia and James were at my age.
Shari's sister and her family visited for a long weekend during their spring break and more fun memories were created. Josiah and James got plenty of cuddles for their adoring older cousins and Alivia loved having someone her age to enjoy and find adventure with.
