Savoring the last weeks of summer!

We had some fun taking photos of the kids last weekend after realizing that August has been fun yet without many photos to show for it.  Alivia & James have enjoyed a lot of outdoor play time and have grown quite imaginative in their play together.  Their favorite summer activity is swimming so trips a pool are always a highlight. Josiah remains content wherever he is 98% of the time and continues to get lots of love from all of us in exchange for his sweet smiles.
Alivia is 4 years old and we're looking forward to keeping her home for her preschool year.  She is constantly twirling and prancing on her toes so we decided to give ballet a try this fall and she is very excited!

Our bare foot princess

James is 2 1/2 and just loves life...he loves exploring, playing with any type of gadget and anything that involves water or dirt.

"Mommy, can you look away so I can eat this piece of grass?"

Josiah is now crawling and loves to walk holding onto hands.  He loves time in a doorway jumper, outdoor swings and his playyard.  Even when he wakes up from naps, he is perfectly content to just start playing...what a blessing!

Thanks to Stephen's brother for the tickets, we enjoyed an evening with just Alivia & James at a baseball game and it happened to be on one of the hottest days of summer, but was fun for all.

James loves balls so this was a treat.

Alivia keeping hydrated.

We didn't make it until the end of the game, but stayed until dark and at one point, I was pointing out something in the game to Alivia and she replied, "I wasn't watching because I was watching the show God made up there" as she pointed up to the sunset.

Alivia and a friend on a bike ride...funny how this puddle just couldn't be resisted.

Any and every toy turns into a way to make noise for Josiah.

Picnic lunches have become a norm this last month..

...and the best part of that is that the kids enjoy the fresh air and sunshine while crumbs stay outside!

Have a terrific week!
