The beginning of December was a special time looking ahead to Christmas as well as enjoying some other special activities like museum visits, playing in the snow (a welcome treat), and several Christmas related activities. Our Christmas celebrations allowed precious time as a family and with our extended family celebrating God's gift of Jesus.

Alivia's last ballet class of the semester was open to parents to observe so we enjoyed seeing what she had been learning. They had practiced choreography to a couple praise songs which was fun to see.
A visit to the Children's museum with friends was a treat and here James is enjoying climbing on a polar bear transport net.
A rare moment where all 3 are working on project...Josiah wasn't actively helping, but he also wasn't walking off with the puzzle pieces this time. :)
James enjoying making a snowman out of stickers that was in a box of Christmas activities we received from the Tower cousins.
Coloring is one of Alivia's favorite activities and she loves to give attention to detail.
Stopping for a hot cocoa break on a family outing to the zoo which was decked out with an impressive Christmas lights display
Enjoying a December tradition of reading a Christmas book each night together.
James trying out his new doctor attire.
Celebrating Jesus birthday with a much anticipated birthday cake
Stephen's mom with her 4 children all together to celebrate Christmas
Thanks to Shari's sister sharing her costumes with us, Alivia, James and a couple of their cousins enjoyed acting out the story of Jesus' birth.
"I love my new duck, Grandpa & Grandma Reed."
Shari's parents with 5 of their 6 grandchildren looking at a calendar made with photos from the past year.
These two 4-year old cousins spending some "technology time"
with Grandpa and his IPOD touch.
Our Christmas celebration with Shari's family was on a beautiful sunny day in Michigan so provided time for playing outside...here James is trying out a new scooter.
I will love this new slide once I get some good sleep...so much celebrating can wear a boy out!
Buried in the snow by Daddy and loving it
Watching from the warmth of the house this time...but eager to join in.
A special night playing in the snow with Daddy
