The month of February flew as we were blessed to be able to spend 11 days in Florida and had a fantastic time as a family enjoying slightly warmer weather :), seeing grandparents, enjoying Animal Kingdom, the Magic Kingdom and enjoying time away from home. The kids did super in the car and Alivia & James loved the change of scenery, playing in the pools the 2 days that it reached 70 degrees and exploring the Disney parks. Josiah was his normal happy contented self and delighted us with his increasing vocal skills and laughs. Our last 4 days, we were joined by Shari's mom who rode back with us (she's a trooper as we traveled 16 hours through the night with only a couple stops) and it gave Shari's dad a good excuse to come for a visit in Indianapolis in order to pick her up.
Happy belated Valentine's Day!
Hmmm...how can I get that toy?
Our little prairie princess...Alivia loves playing dress up
3 months and growing fast!
James is our "resourceful one" who thought he could enlist the help of a stool to help him reach the "off limits" magnets.
A Super Bowl party with Stephen's family and some close friends was a fun family time despite the disappointing outcome of the game. :)
Special time with grandparents is always a treat!
Florida bound...only about 14 more hours to go and I was a superstar traveler!
A few moments enjoying a beach near Tampa and trying to stay warm
3 generations: Grandpa Gray, Stephen & James
Grandma Gray and Alivia taking a rest in the sun
Hitting the amusement rides with Daddy...
...while Josiah took great naps in his baby sling
Swimming in the jacuzzi works when it's cold outside
A photo stop at the Orlando airport while picking up Grandma
Vacation provided lots of time for deep discussions. :)
Ready for a fun day at the Magic Kingdom...thanks for enjoying the day with us, Grandma Kregel!
James loved controlling our altitude in the Dumbo ride...up & down and again!
Carousal rides never get old!!
James was quite serious about the task at hand.
After good naps and supper at our residence, we returned to the park for a fun evening filled with fireworks and some more rides.
James absolutely loved the grand finale
Josiah even stayed awake to enjoy some rides and lots of loving from Grandma Kregel.
Alivia was thrilled when we consented to a ride in the spinning teacups...thankfully she doesn't yet know that you can manipulate them to spin faster
Our last day warmed up to 70 and was a beautiful day to enjoy the pools.
After driving about 13 hours through the night on our way home, an indoor playground was a special treat for the kids and they managed to eat some breakfast too.
"I love you, brother!"
Thanks for coming to see us, Grandpa Kregel!
Performing on the hearth has become a new favored activity...this time resulting in a spontaneous hug.
"Thank you, Auntie Michele for my new giraffe...can you tell I like him!"
How do you like my new way to burn energy...winter is fun!
