Outings, Cousins & Living History Museum

We've had a fun-filled last month including opportunities to host a missionary family with 3 young children for a weekend, a family outing to our state fair complete with Alivia's first ferris wheel ride with her Daddy, a visit to an apple orchard and lots of time just being outside. Alivia has about mastered her bike with training wheels and our cul-de-sac has been a great practice zone while James usually keeps busy with any ball he can find.

This week we were thrilled to welcome Shari's sister, 2 nieces and nephew for a visit and enjoyed a great day at a living history museum. We packed a lot into a couple days as both evenings my sister was a HUGE help by first helping me clean a condo we are putting on the market and then helping me can 28 quarts of applesauce. What a gift! The kids had a great time playing together and it's always a highlight for me to have quality time with my amazing sister. Alivia commented last night after they had left, "Mommy, I'm a little sad because my friends are gone."

Alivia was so excited about the cake she decorated for Aunt Brenda's birthday that she met her at the door upon her arrival saying, "Your cake is hiding."
